OUR STORY
Calliope’s Treasure is more of a family than a business. After years of frustration at the world becoming more and more corporate, we decide to step out and make a change.
We were saddened by the closure of so many businesses. It was difficult to find unique gifts. Most of the bookstores, toy stores, baby supply stores, and Christian supply stores were gone. There was nowhere in town where we could hold and flip through a Bible before we bought it. Of course we could order things online, but if we aren’t careful soon that will be the only way to shop. The thought of a handful of huge companies that are generally known to mistreat their employees and source products made in sweatshops being the only ones left standing is honestly quite terrifying.
We wanted to create something different, something special. We believe in putting people first, not profit. We believe in quality and reasonable prices. We are striving to be a company where customers and employees alike are highly satisfied. We strive to provide unique gifts in every price range for every customer.
